Recipes changes for Botania are NOT represented in the Lexica Botanica so use NEI for those. Recipe changes for Thaumcraft are represented in the Thaumonomicon. Some convenience crafting recipes have been added, such as the ability to craft Greatwood/Silverwood saplings, blaze rods, Nitor, and Alumentum. Runic Altar The Runic Altar is a key component in creating more advanced Botania flora. I disliked how the runes required a bunch of random ingredients that I could never remember so I made them require some logical Thaumcraft items instead that are easy to remember (and also adds a little challenge for the seasonal tier 2 runes). I also modified some basic recipes such as Botania's runes. The sash is much easier to craft and performs better, therefore I made it accessible only after the Boots of the Traveler. One example is the Boots of the Traveler and Soujouner's Sash. It is created very easily but mostly in small amounts, but through mod progression the player can acquire and build more beneficial and larger amounts of Mana. Mana is the energy system Botania features, used for powering magical utilities. This let me control balance issues between Botania and Thaumcraft. The Lexica Botania is crafted using any mystical flower and a piece of paper. The most major change involved creating a tiered system:īotania - runic alter, alchemy catalyst, tier 1 flowers I've play tested it up to elven trade and golem tech. It was first released in 2014 for Forge on Minecraft 1.6 and has grown with Minecraft throughout the years. Gameplay is centered around creating magical flowers and devices using Mana, the power of the earth. Here it is, v1.0 of my 1.7.10 Botania + Thaumcraft scripts. Botania is a free tech mod for Minecraft Java Edition themed around natural magic.
